During an overnight youth trip to Cypress Island, we will learn Samish language and about traditional Samish food and medicine plants. We will camp at Pelican Beach and hike to Eagle Cliff to do some volunteer work to remove invasive species from a rare ecosystem.

Priority is given to youth ages 8-18 on this trip, though younger children are welcome with a parent if space allows. Meet at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 7 at Washington Park Boat Launch. We will return on Sunday, September 8 about 3:00 pm. Food will be provided, please let Allison know if you have any food allergies prior to the trip. RSVP by August 27 due to limited campsite space.
