Elders
The Elders/Caregiver program provides a healthy lunch and social interaction for elders four days per week. We provide chair massage for caregivers on Friday. We have blood pressure checks and diabetes counseling through our Samish nurse every Wednesday.

Samish Elders and Caregiver Program
- Lunch/Salad Bar
- Free Blood Pressure Checks
- Beading Class
- Cribbage
- Chair Massages
We also have an elders beading group and cribbage club. We provide medical and nutritional resource and referral services. We had several clinics this year including several diabetes foot clinics, a dementia lecture, and a women’s heart health lecture.
We’d like to announce that the Longhouse has a new salad bar! We will be serving soup and salad every Tuesday starting August 17, 2010. Please remember that Samish tribal members eat free and that non-members are asked to pay $3 to help support the program. Thank you to Sue for preparing the program’s delicious meals each day, and especially now with our fresh and healthy choices! Hope to see you all come by!
