Newsletter

The Samish News is a newsletter sent to tribal members to give them updated information about their nation on a quarterly basis. In the newsletter you will find information regarding social services, enrollment, events hosted by the Samish Nation, and other important information for tribal members. After the newsletter is designed it is then reviewed, printed, and sent out to your homes.

If you would like to:

SUBMIT AN ARTICLE
We welcome any tribal member to submit an article for the newsletter. Please note that our newsletter is small, so please try and keep your articles to a half a page.

WRITE A LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Letters to the editor usually consist of thank you letters, anything the tribal member wants to share with the membership, or a question they may want to ask.

ADVERTISE YOUR BUISNESS
Advertise your business in the “Businesses Owned by Tribal Members” section of the newsletter. This service is free to tribal members. When submitting your business please include business name, address, phone number, your name, and your company logo.

PUBLISH AN OBITUARY
If someone in your family has passed away, please let us know so that we can publish an obituary in the newsletter to inform other tribal members of your loss. When submitting an obituary, please include the deceased person’s name, information about that person that you would like to share, and a photo.

ANYTHING ELSE
Please let us know what else you would like to see in our Samish Newsletter. We would love your input.
