Canoe Family

The Samish Canoe Family's vision is to open spaces for Tribal citizens to engage in traditional Samish language & culture while navigating the traditional transportation highways of the Salish Sea.

The Samish Canoe Family is a volunteer group of tribal citizens, friends and relatives. The Canoe Family is predominantly self-funded through fundraising activities throughout the year and enjoys being called to "do work"; such as making small outings and answering invitations to bring our canoes to local festivals and events.
