Purpose: To provide financial assistance, counseling, and other services to prevent families and individuals from being evicted, losing their homes, and becoming homeless.
Definition of homeless:
Living in a place not meant for human habitation such as:
- A vehicle,
- RVs with no running water or electricity,
- Abandoned buildings,
- Couch surfing,
- Sleeping outside or in a tent,
- Living in a care facility or incarcerated & will be exiting into homelessness
- Overcrowding.
